A lot of us are on the roads departing Christmas and or going on to New Year.
Travel sickness can be a real and exhausting problem for some. Try chewing on freshly chopped, tiny pieces of ginger, or make up ginger tea and put them into flasks. Ginger has a constituent called Gingerol that helps block the action of the chemical messenger serotonin, which in turn inhibits the contraction of the stomach to cause vomiting.
Recipe:
2 tsp grated ginger root
One cup boiling water
Infuse 10 mins.
Filter off ginger and fill into the travelling flasks.
